North to South

Narberth

The day started in an unusual way with thick mist coating the hills of Nebo. Pop was anxious that today's drive would be extremely stressful if it was in fog. However, just as Tadcu predicted it clung to the hilltops and when we got to the highway it had cleared.

The roads were reasonably clear and we proceeded quite well until Leonie (our sat/nav) decided to inflict her revenge upon us for the times that we ignored her instructions. We had promised a fellow in Shepparton to call in on his father - "his farm is just along the road and you will pass by it." But Leonie took us eight miles down Brook Lane- a goat track barely wide enough for Leon to get through. Fortunately we did not encounter any oncoming vehicles, only a few sheep. Pop was happy to herd them along the lane by way of using them as a buffer for oncoming traffic.

We eventually reached Brynmelin Farm where Mr. Huw Jones was surprised by two Aussie visitors from Shepparton. A great chat and cup of tea and on our way again. No further games from Leonie and we arrived in Narberth to be greeted warmly by Aunty Terry and her dog Bobby.

After tea Pop's cousin Linda came to visit. She hasn' t changed since we last met her in 2006. There again I don't suppose we have changed at all either. Ha Ha!!

Not much else to tell. The views along the coast were terrific and the countryside more rolling than the rugged peaks and valleys of the North.
So tomorrow perhaps a little exploring but this time of woodlands and dales.
It would be remiss if we didn't give our thanks to Nain and Tadcu for their amazing hospitality and generosity. Wonderful time. Dioch!!!

All our love Poss and Pop
