Another Day in Narberth

Narberth

After regretfully arranging for our departure last night Pop was checking the codes to get into the cottage in Cornwall. He discovered that we actually were not to go into the place until Saturday. Aunty Terry took the bad news really well and we celebrated the news with a visit fro Karen, Lucy and baby Aiden (Terry's great grandson). What a wonderful little man and this eased our current bout of grandchild deprivation syndrome.

We then took a stroll through the now touristy town of Narberth up to pay a visit to Uncle Jim's grave. Terry's dog Bobby  came with us and couldn't believe his luck when we detoured to the town moor for a couple of laps with an overweight Aussie. From there it was down the country lanes with Terry now driving (Pop thinks they were much wider than yesterday.

Again we were blessed with fine warm weather and after all his walking Bobby needed a drink at a very popular watering hole on the estuary. With a bowl of water in the back of the car we left him and settled for a very nice lunch - Terry and Pop had fresh Sea Bass whilst Poss decided to try the hickory smoked salmon. We all agreed our food was absolutely delicious.
What fish we enjoyed!
On our way home we detoured to a small seaside township  crowded with tourists and again Bobby had a walk. I heard him whisper to a passing dog "I hope these Aussie's go home soon!".
So we had a beautiful additional day and on to Cornwall. There is no WiFi at the cottage so again we will see you all soon.

Would you like to go down memory lane with us? (Don't think the video link is working) Maybe another time.
